Laboratory wash fastness tester is an ideal machine for checking fastness to washing, dry cleaning and chlorinated water of coloured textile samples and the same can be in fiber, yarn or in fabric form.Wash fastness tester machine meets the necessary specification required by international standards for carrying out these testes.

Machine consists of an electrically heated water bath, beaker carriage having arrangements for lock the beakers, which rotates at 40 +/- 2 rpm in the bath. Drive is through a powerful gearbox with motor and the gearbox is having synthetic oil which don’t required any oiling. Beakers are provided with s.s full lids and half lids which will help for quick opening and closing. Due to the easy operation the beakers are no need to remove from the carriage for dosing of chemicals. The beakers are numbered for quick identification.

For wash fastness testing: dyed samples to be tested are stitched in between 2 no’s UN dyed pieces of the same materials. Tests are then carried out as per the test methods of AATCC specifications. After the test is over, it is compared with original dyed sample to check the loss of depth in shade. Undyed pieces are checked for staining. Accordingly the sample is graded for its wash fastness and staining properties.

A micro processor controller PC-07 is used for time, temperature control. Machine is available in following models.
